Slovodara Anderson
Psychologist. A gentle companion through life’s transitions
Sometimes what matters the most
is meeting someone
in whose presence you can breathe more freely.
Everyone has their own path.
To walk it with greater clarity, we sometimes need to pause in a space where we can listen to ourselves, take stock of where we are, and make the decisions that matter.
I am here
to help create that space and time with you.
Slovodara Anderson
Psychologist. A gentle companion through life’s transitions
To live a meaningful and engaged life — despite its difficulties, challenges and problems — it helps to understand ourselves and others. And to see, hear and feel what connects us and what gives our lives meaning.
That is why I am here: to be alongside you, to listen, to see you, to meet you where you are, and to create together a space where you can look upon yourself with a kind, compassionate eye.
And then the choice remains yours.
Perhaps you will discover that much of what you already have is valuable and worth preserving. Or perhaps you will realise that it is time for something to change.
And if one day you feel that you would rather walk this path not alone, I will be glad to accompany you for as long as you need.
How I can help
With me, you can spend an entire hour talking about yourself without worrying that someone will think you are being selfish.
You can be sensitive, uncertain or, when needed, not particularly empathetic.
Or full of love and enthusiasm, without having to hold yourself back because someone else is sad or struggling.
With me, you can be different versions of yourself — to me, that is part of what it means to be alive.
Give yourself permission to pause, reset and reconnect with the resources you need for your family, your work, your sport or the things you love.
If this approach resonates with you, write to me and we will find a convenient time for your own meeting with yourself.
At some point, for one reason or another, we may feel that we want to grow not only as individuals, but also as a couple.
After all, it is precisely in close relationships that we can discover ourselves even more deeply, experience our need for love and care, and create something greater together.
And that can be inspiring and uplifting.
Of course, every relationship comes with its own challenges: learning how to relate to one another, developing certain qualities within ourselves, and creating a shared space that is something entirely new — different from the life we had when we were on our own.
As long as the desire to be together remains, there is always an opportunity to understand where the connection was lost and begin creating a new sense of mutual understanding.
Shall we explore how, together?
If this approach resonates with you, write to me and we will find a convenient time for you to meet each other again.
We need other people, because there is no such thing as an isolated self. We become who we are through our encounters with others.
In a group, it can become easier to find ways of living among other people while remaining yourself — and at the same time helping those around you unfold and grow.
Group projects usually last 6–12 months. This gives awareness and change time to emerge. And over that time, people can grow close enough to want to continue walking together even after the group has ended.
It will be nourishing. It will be inspiring.
If this approach resonates with you, write to me. Together, we can find a group that suits you from those already available, or create a new one around your needs — bringing together people who share your interests and values.
How I work
I create a space where you can be yourself — without pressure or the need to be “the right kind of person”.
We move at your pace, with respect for what feels possible for you right now. Together, we look not for universal recipes, but for ways of living and relating that feel natural and authentic to you.
To do this, I draw on different psychological approaches and adapt them to the person — rather than asking the person to adapt to a particular method.
What happens in the first session
